IMHO, that's not too many short of a 1st XI that should be able to hold it's own at the upper end of League 2. Trouble is, how often can you expect to field your 1st XI over the course of the season? If we have to fill in with inexperienced/youth players too regularly we'll be screwed.

I think the point DTS was making was that they got to the playoffs for 5 seasons on the trot, making the final twice, once against us.

If you get to the playoffs that many times then your not making the grade for automatic promotion

Agreed but I would say your winning a lot of games and I bet there are a lot of sides that havent made the play offs at all in the same six year period.
