National league to vote on whether to scrap their season

Big vote tomorrow this IMO is the only way we will stay up, and depending obviously what chairman you hear talk about it is the difference of opinions, just saw a article from kings Lyn town chairman saying if it’s a loan and not a grant they are done....! And as far as he was concerned there’s plenty in that opinion!! Then you here from Torquay Hartlepool and Notts county that say most would play on ...... ? if the north and south divisions stop what’s the point of teams getting loans in the top national Lge if it’s not competitive......could be interesting tomorrow

One of the major sticking points seems to be that the criteria for loans versus grants hasn't been made clear and clubs will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks before they get any dosh.

Tomorrow's going to be interesting that's for sure

Is the vote today? When will we know?
If the government don’t change from loans to grants it won’t continue why would any club want a dept when they can use the furlong scheme and just start again next season it’s a no brained your get the top 8 wanting to play but the rest won’t .... furlong or a fairly big dept it really is a no go for these clubs

On the list of transfers I see National league sides signing players - why would they if they thought league wasn't going to continue? Equally I see a headline that one side has furloughed some players. Seems a mess.

Yes Chesterfield!! and other clubs aren’t happy with this!! Taking a loan and furloughed staff!! If you look at all the bottom half of the Lge sides Twitter accounts they all are asking for people to sign petitions to get the government to change the loans to grants... it is a right mess but most teams won’t take on dept and why should they?
