New Badge Concept....

After the Everton crest debacle & rumours of a new SUFC badge, I thought I'd see what kind of new design I could come up with.

Unfortunately, the idea I had in my mind didn't quite match the final result :blush: due to only having access to MS Paint at work lol. I'd be able to create a much more finished version next week when my home comp gets fixed.

But what do you think of the concept of my design - I tried to keep all the main aspects of the current badge, but have replaced the shield with an anchor....



Please don't all laugh at once :'(

While I feel the badge should stay as is, yours is a good effort.
Though personally I think an anchor is not a good symbol, as an anchor goes straight to the bottom and keeps you there!

I had the badge tattooed on my arm for our trip to Wembley.

It must not be altered.

If RM is thinking of re-branding he would do better using the money to make sure we don't have unpaid bills that lead to an umbongo.

I think the problem with the Everton one wasn't to do with what was on it, but what was left out on the new badge.

I quite like it well done. Well, at least its got a large shrimp, which is a reminder of an old badge we used to have circa 1960'shave to be careful of the anchor, cockney rhyming slang, etc.

Once you have a decent badge that the fans like and everyone is familiar with it should be left ad infinite um. I like the the current badge which is very similar to the version that we had through the 60's,70's & 80's. It should stay.

I like our badge, not sure why teams change it is doesn't really make a big difference, can't see Falcao not completing his move to Monaco because the badge isn't appropriate, as long as it doesn't look terrible all is good.

Good effort on paint though, if I tried to do that the laptop would end up on the floor due to frustration

I agree with this . With the anchor below the waves , and he name even lower it looks like we have sunk beneath the waves and are now anchored' to the bottom (league 2)

It has negative connotations to me - although you could argue it it would make a fairly accurate badge of who we are :stunned:
