Well sort of! actually it's:

So it's half the Stadium years, won't be much about the dogs though.



Should be out for next Christmas.

Pete, as I've mentioned before my "husband's" uncle played for Southend around that time, used to be on (I think) Ranger's books but came down here cos of oil trade and played for us. Both he and his wife are now sadly departed but I might be able to find out some more for you.

Ah.Sorry for being slightly :offtopic:but:-
I have a "slight" family connection to a former player of ours too.Alf Smirk.He was married to my uncle's wife's sister.
Sadly, I don't have any pics of the great(little)man but do have some fond memories of car trips with him to away games(driven by my Aunt)back in the 60's when he was a reporter for the Southend Standard.Great Cup games away at Swindon,Mansfield and Wolves readily come to mind.
