for me (being a media student)

i would prefer Kenkraft - Zombie Nation as our entrance song and one step beyond as our goal song .

but that is only my opinion :)

how about we assign each player there own song ? :D haha

just for fun haha

actually how about trololo - Eduard Khil :P

just to wind the opponents up if we pull far ahead :winking:

I genuinely think this would be a GREAT thing to do.

Coming up with the songs shouldn't be too hard either.

Freddy Eastwood - Papa's got a brand new pigbag
Britt Assombalonga - Do Do Do, Come on and do the Conga
Elliot Benyon - Theme tune from Surprise, Surprise

Benyons should be : I beleive in miracles

Audioslove - Cochise (from about 50 seconds in as the beginning bit is a bit of a build up, although it could encourage the team to lay the foundations for a goal :smiles:)

On a more serious note

Sick drop @57secs

Kudos for the Zombie Nation mention, historical tie to the club. Suggest the more up to date and bangin Chris Schweizer mix

I Still Believe - Frank Turner. There are a few 10 second bits in there that could fit the bill... a few "hey yeahs" so the West can join in too.

Song 2 - Blur

That's Entertainment - The Jam

When we discussed this a few years back, I put forward the theme tune from the Banana Splits, which was quite well received.

Just a thought that we should at least try for something unique if we are to have "goal music". Madness' One step beyond is far too associated with Chelski and Depeche Mode's Just Can't Get Enough with Liverpool & Celtic who've done it with alternative words.
I'm not a fan of goal music as it drowns out the real cheers but surely if we are going to have it , lets go for something that hasn't been used by any other club. Nicely irreverent would be the Banana Splits theme tune for goals and definitely agree with Mighty Wah's Story of the Blues as the team comes on the pitch.

Just as long as its no euro pop rubbish that you hear at 90% of grounds and to me just smacks of brainless marketing types in the club who have no feel for the supporters.
We are Southend , we are unique...lets stay that way.

One last suggestion...."Oh I do like to be beside the seaside" ?
