New Kit thread 2019/20

I said a few pages back I'd like to see Hummel,

check out these beauts they've done for Coventry. Harking back to their shirt from '88 which was also used by Villa, Southampton and originally Denmark in Mexico 86.

Our 16 year relationship with Nike (Teamwear) must be the longest one across the divisions?

Hummel and Umbro have released some proper belters but I'm not a fan of that Cov one

You're right though, I cant imagine anyone has been with a brand as long as we have. Dull as dishwater

We moan about our kit but anyone who went to Gillingham last season and had a look round their club shop will realise how lucky we are. Their kit is terrible I can’t even tell you who the company was, they had an awful looking sponsor.

Nike might be a bit generic and boring at times but last seasons kit was one of the best. Great sponsors front and back, great style and colours. If we have anything like last seasons I’ll be more than happy.

That orange one was sexy

2008 and 2014 were the only times it felt like a bit of risk was taken in the Nike era.

i hope it isn't the same as this yellow as thats horrendous

2014 felt like a homage of sorts to the 1981 title-winning kit.

I never saw any of the marketing spiel at the time so I'm not sure if that was the angle Nike were going for or not?

I think it’s nice to think that but it was a template about 5 other football league clubs had that year. Think Charlton and Peterborough were two that I can remember.
