Funnily enough they have a similar kit history to us. Only introduced yellow in the 70’s... although more aggressively than us.. even went full yellow over blue at one point. Also had royal then purple blue before the 90’s dark blue.

Why would we want Royal Blue?

It's bad enough we now call ourselves "The Blues" like Chelsea.

I like the fact we have a unique kit colour, whenever I see the football highlights and I see Navy it's usually us.

So many teams wear royal blue, it's such a common colour, no individuality.

NAVY ALL THE WAY FOR ME!

As for the away, I'm a fan of white but its not very practical unless we have a third kit again so I'd probably like to see a claret kit again.

Was a 2 year deal wasnt it, maybe 3. Was definitely longer than 1 though
