HAha is that numpty still going?

(EDIT as texas posted before I did, the numpy being Fake twitter guy, not Chris Powell lol)

Looks legit.... :nope:

But if it is Chris Powell then that is an exciting hiring. Always comes across as intelligent when I've seen him.

Credit to Ron Martin

His managerial appointments have been just what we needed at the time.

Tilly was caretaker only but did so well and Ron had faith in him; the rest is history.

When it all went wrong for him, he brought in Sturrock who was EXACTLY what we needed at the time; someone who had a massive network of contacts to build a squad in about a fortnight.

After Sturrock, when it all seemed to go south, in came Brown who took us to a higher level.

Now, with everything all so poor on and off the pitch and the place like a morgue, drastic action has been taken.

Any old manager will not do and we clearly can't replace the entire squad. Any ordinary experienced manager will have pros and cons and similarly will divide opinion among the fans. What we want more than ever now is unity off the pitch and if our players on the pitch are a bit lacking, we need someone to universally lift the fans so that we can be the 12th man.

Two people could do that. Adam Barrett or Chris Powell.

I feel it is too soon for Adam. To be honest I'm not even sure about Sir Chris. But if this gets the Hall rocking again - which I am sure it will, despite the pitch and the performances - it will be another superb appointment.

The club needs us more than ever. Sod it, I'm even bloody well considering going to Rochdale. We can do our bit here, and well done Ron.

I can't agree it went South with Sturrock in charge. We were 9th when he was sacked. Brown took over and we finished 11th. I'd have stuck with Sturrock until the end of the season

No1. choice would be Nathan Jones - very unlikely
No2. choice would be Mark Warburton - unlikely
No3. choice would be the Cowleys - unlikely

But happy with Chris Powell too
