After the disappointment of yesterdays result in the World Cup it's time to start thinking about REAL football

The first session of the Shrimperzone Prediction League starts Saturday 4th August 2018 and everyone is invited to take part.

There are four sessions a year, four divisions, cup competitions, individual competition for Southend results only and the chance to be "capped" by your stand. There is Promotion, Relegation and play-offs. It is certainly lively and always something going on.

All you have to do is predict the scores from six selected fixtures, mark one as your wildcard which will score double points and name who you think will score first for Southend. About two minutes a time and it's all done. the first set of fixtures are at the following link:

As a new member you would start in Division 4 but with four sessions a year there is plenty of scope to work your way up the Leagues.

If you a member but rarely post this is an easy way to start. .

and hopefully it's fun

Byes for the First Round of the Prediction League are issued on a first to predict basis,so get your predictions in early and you could already be in Round 2 of the Cup. :Cool:

10 days to go to the big kick-off and so far 43 have posted their predictions for the first set of fixtures and that includes 11 new predictors.

In the last session of last season 95 took part who knows we could reach a 100 this time.

5 days to go to the big kick-off and so far 65 have posted their predictions for the first set of fixtures and that includes 14 new predictors.

Having past 64 this means that the Prediction League Cup will be 5 Rounds, Semi-Final and Final.
