The PL League Boss⭐⭐
As I'm sure you are aware the current session of the Prediction League ends next Tuesday and a new one will start on Saturday week well this is the basic plan:
Firstly rather than call them sessions this will be the ninth time the SZ Prediction League has been contested so will simply call it SEASON 9 from now on.
Scoring for all predictors will remain exactly the same predicting six results, Southends first scorer and a wildcard.
PREDICTION LEAGUE
The League will be split into two Divisions the first 24 from Season 8 (just ending) will form Division One all others, including any new predictors will go into Division Two.
At the end of Season 9 the bottom four in Division One will be automatically relegated, while the top 3 from Division Two will be automtically promoted. 4th to 7th will go into the play-offs (the first match of the new season), the highest scorer of the four on that day will be promoted, in the event of equal points then the highest finisher (4th, 5th or 6th) will be promoted
PREDICTION CUP
As before no ceding for First Division predictors
SOUTHEND PREDICTION LEAGUE (southend scorte and scorers only)
As before not split between Divisions
ROOTS HALL "HOME" Competition
The highest scorers, irrespective of what Division they are in, will represent their stands.
I've probably confused you all but it will hopefully make more sense as it progresses.
The general dates are as below but these may well change as we may or may not have Cup matches/Replays to fit in.
