Hi all do any off u know whats going on with the new stadium as there has been no news for a while IM starting to feel it's a pipe dream

Council agreed last amendments to plans a few months ago and gave 3 months for any objections.

Should be some news beginning of October.

You had better hope it isnt or we are 10 million in debt with no way of repaying....

So you don't care if we go bust or not?

Wrong choice of words from me I do care if we go bust, but i've stopped worrying.
I stop worrying about Finances, Chairmen, Stadiums and Supporter groups!
I just go now and support the team on the pitch (that's what got me into football).

Fair enough, there is nothing anyone can do. It's all done to Ron now, so why is everyone worried?:'(

That makes complete and utter sense jimmy, thats a good line to take.UTB

Pity we all dont take the same line as Jimmy , and just support the team on the pitch, Turn up in your droves ,shout yourselves horse, then go home and await the next game.

Presumably,if the embargo and other off the pitch financial shenanigans continue, there may well come a time, when the next game might well be a non-league one,if we're not actually wound up, that is.

Just looked on the Council website and it would appear the extension to the planning permission has still not been granted and has in fact expired.

What that means I don't know. But it surely means nothing is forthcoming anytime soon.
