hi all my first time here , i live in melbourne but was born and raised in Southend.have followed Southend probably longer than most of you been alive.I played for their youth side when it was first formed back in 1962-3 , long time back. played in their first ever youth international tournament .Back in the days when Ted Fenton was manager.Anyway i m glad the team finally got a win under its belt i hope they can go on from here and win promotion, i truly believe they really should be in the Championship ,only need support and someone to put some much needed cash into the club.I know if they do get their again and in a new Stadium they would fill it to capacity. Not many teams get the support they do in this division.GO THE BLUES !!

Welcome to the board, you'll probably have some interesting tales to tell if you've been involved on the playing side, I shall look forward to hearing them!
