Ok, I remember there being a variety of opinions last year, so with it leading into a long weekend this year, who's doing what?

Personally, I hate it but am being dragged kicking and screaming to my friend's, round the corner. She lives in a cul de sac and they always have a big marquee and lots of food and drink, it's ok and at least we can nip indoors and warm up if it's too cold. She's determined I'm not going to be my usual boring sat at home self though.

Friends are great aren't they?!

Going to visit my brother and my sister-in-law.

He cooks some top nosh, lays on some fantastic booze and I have a fantastic time.

what a bunch of miserable old *****

I'll be staying in with the family, but at least i'll be enjoying myself :)

Mrs DtS and I have a baby sitter (Mrs DtS Mum) so we off to my mates where there will be four couples (eg my three best mates and there wives).

Personally cant wait and I normally think NYE is ****.

I generally hate New Years Eve with a passion as well.

This year I'm round the girlfriend's house, where a load of her family will be waiting for me.

I don't go out anymore, purely because it's usually anywhere between £10-£50 a ticket for somewhere and then you ending up waiting for 30 minutes to be chatged £6 for a crappy pint of lager.

Me and a few mates have piled all our booze left over from Christmas together and we're having a bit of party round here.

New Years Eve is so over hyped it ends up being a massive let down.

You pay far too much for tickets, larger and taxis that its just a waste of money.

This year, I'm off to my local pub which re-opened in the summer, for a fancy dress party. £10 for a ticket, DJ, kareoke and a buffet. £2.85 for a pint of Fosters, £3 for a Jaggerbomb, £3.50 for a vodka red bull. Fancy dress, and me and my brother and a mate will be going in morph suit. Gonna be hilarious and I can't wait.

Since the "unpleasentness" on Sunday night, i don't think i'll be doing **** all :(

Not a fan of NYE but will be going to a party around a friends in Hadleigh..

Is True Blue going by any chance?
