New Zone Members

As new zone members are "vet'd" before being approved to post, etc would it be an idea that they only appear as a new members once they have been approved by the mods/owners?

That way it would prevent some of the less than savoury spam names which appear at the bottom of the forum who are so called "welcome new zone members"......
