I'm not a fan of the newest stadium plan at all, I'm also worry that we'll lose all atmosphere it a big new stadium but I'd really the club to be financially solvent... Catch 22.

Sounds like Ron has given away a huge share of ownership once the project is completed....finally

These are two images I haven't seen before, I don't know about you guys? I'm all for flats being on the development but their has to be a better way...

From an aesthetic point of view? From a practical point of view, it's actually a clever way of building the flats without them taking up any space.

Aesthetically I feel like I'm looking at a cargo ship. I can't argue that it does save space but it also encroach those corners within the stadium.

edit: if you look at the plan at the top left corner of the ground they've designated as much area if not more than the adjacent flats for a raised grass lawn...

Ever since we sold off our South Bank we have become used to people peeping down on us all from their flats. Can't see the attraction of watching half of the available action myself but each to their own.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for big birds, but some of those flying over the stadium are scary. Hope they're not vultures.

It's pretty hideous with the tower block attachments, which surely must all be 'affordable homes' as I can't see anyone with options wanting to buy one.

p.s. Ron if you're watching it's lovely, just smashing. Please build soon xx
