To start off with, congrats to former Blues, Adam Federici and Chris Powell on their respective Player of the Month and Manager of the Month for February awards.

Secondly, how's this from Sammy McIlroy in his L2 blog?

Fans don't always realise the influence they have on matches. It's an old adage I know but in certain situations they genuinely are a 12th man which is why npower League 2's bigger, well-supported clubs hold a distinct advantage over their rivals.
Players love to be part of a match that has atmosphere. On Monday night when Southend United went down to nine men against Crawley Town for example, the noise levels went through the roof inside Roots Hall and I swear it was that passionate support that inspired the Shrimpers to hang on and get over the line with a 0-0 draw.

Be proud guys, be very proud!

The obvious comment is why do we wait until we're 2 players down to make a noise? We really should make an effort from the start...starting tomorrow.

I thought the atmosphere was much better than usual from the start against Crawley. It just intensified naturally when we had Barker sent off and the penalty save.
