If we can get a win here I'd have been happy with 5 points from 4 difficult games and in the hat for the next round of the JPT.

So 4 league games - 3 points.

And that through a period of constant team changes through injuries and suspensions. 3 of those games we were in the lead.

The next 4 are ...........

Blackpool (home) ........... bottom 4
Oldham (away) ........... won on Saturday to move to 18th
Wigan (home) .......... 5th and not lost in 10 league games
Bradford (away) ........ 7th and not lost in the last 7 league games

We won't have a game between Wigan and Bradford as we are out of the cup unless a game is re-arranged.

Not as simple as 3 from 12 points as two of the draws were at, arguably, the most difficult away fixtures. The home 2-2 was the point that HURT.
Our away form is play off potential but we need to kill off games at The Hall.
I suggest players' bonus pool changes for 3+ scored goals in a game. It will cost short term but might get bodies thru the turnstiles and go some way to altering the mindset that is denied to exist despite being seen on too many 2nd half displays.

There's also the Millwall JPT game (07/12) in the mix there somewhere.

I'd be happy with 6 points from these games. Surely, surely we must be able to see off Blackpool.

I'd also be happy with 6 points, But I wouldnt see 8 points as totally un-realistic either, with possible draws coming at Wigan & Bradford.

Of course im purely basing this on 3 previous games we've played so far this season against higher placed teams where we have been winning, but been pegged back to draws by the final whistle. (namely,..Gillingham, Coventry & more recently of course Sheff Utd).
