I see the Cowley brothers lost 4-1 yesterday. Now that would be a great fit. Non league experience and local lads. I mean it’s never going to happen as they’ve just signed long term contracts, but you can dream for the right appointment.

He may had second thoughts.
Maybe lol I mean whoever gets the job needs our support even if it someone the fans might not think is right for the job this is our club we need stability and our identity back

I think I saw Gareth Southgate hanging out of one of the windows in the flats behind the south stand. I know interviewees were asked to stay away from the ground, but seems at least one found a way. I doubt he was scouting any players for England so I can only come to the conclusion that he is our next manager

He was checking Terrel out.

I wonder if we may take a punt on a young highly regarded coach that’s been plying his trade in the lower leagues. Similar to Rowe pre-Chesterfield.
We tried that with Molesley really, I don't think we're in the right place to be taking risks and doing that, we need someone with experience in the league and someone who can help bring stability to the club.

Very quiet on the new manager front. When it's quiet like this something is usually going on in the background.

It feels unusual to have a quiet Sunday considering how calamitous it's been supporting Southend for the last few years.

Next week will be a good week hopefully and he would fit the bill of knowledge of this division.

I wouldn't rule out Mark Beard being part of the new management team. After all, family reasons, could mean someone in his family fancies a move back South possibly?
