Next signing

Seems strange that no names have been mentioned in last 7 days as to who may be our next signing. Usually someone on this board knows something?

Anyone heard any whispers as to who it might be?
I was thinking that our trip to Bermuda might be quite an attraction for some players weighing up who to join. I believe we depart next Tuesday which could mean we see a number of new players signing on before then.

What was in the Echo today?

I would personally be surprised if we didn't have at least one new face on board before the Bermuda trip, because obviously that week away will put us behind on the search for new blood.

As for names, I hear names, although perhaps they don't mean anything.

Two potential signings in Byfield and Morrell aren't happening now, so I imagine we're on to Plan B in that respect, which I don't think any of us have any knowledge of! The Echo I guess won't dare print any potential names since the little squabble, so until they sign on the dotted line I imagine people will have to sit tight.

Out of interest noticed Vincent Pericard has signed for Stoke on a free, a blinding signing in my book. Would he have been out of our league? It would have been the type of signing GK described as making others take note and the perfect replacement for the Goat. I really wouldn't know what wages he would have acquired as an ex-Prem player maybe I'm talking sh!t
