Go into a comic shop tomorrow and buy a copy of Batman for two quid. Then, in two weeks, sell it on eBay for a tenner. Buy as many as you feel the need. They're killing off Bruce Wayne, you see.

Superman's death in 1992 at the hands of Doomsday became the biggest selling Superman comic in history. He was later resurrected.

As will Bruce Wayne. And if you've read The Dark Knight returns, Wayne apparently dies in that twice!

Nope , wont happen Grant Morrison oh he of The Invisibles and The Filth (brilliant writer btw ) is doing this so the death is a hypersigl experiment to break the 4th wall and is representative of the fiction suit that is Batman as worm by the fiction suit Bruce Wayne
(its kind of a Khoas Magick thing just nod politely)

The comics will be so damn popular that they will be worth , well not alot really ;)
