Many congratulations to 'Its Only A Game'................quite a thriller of a final session. My knee-jerk reaction yesterday, was a little wide of the mark. It appears that it was still down to that fateful, late Peterborough goal but if we had hung on for a victory, it would have been 'Thundersley Blue' who would have carried the title (highest score difference). Thus, he has more reason than me to be a little choked about that equaliser. Anyway, on to next season and as they say............it's only a game! :smile:

Ha, fine words which may come back to haunt you! I thought much the same when I won promotion at my first attempt, to be followed by instant relegation. Other promotions came along, nearly always immediately followed by a relegation. I now seem to have found my level in under-achieving mediocrity - a fitting metaphor for a Shrimper.

PS I should be reading your book tonight as it was a birthday order and my son has just arrived for a visit here in Ireland. But the plank left the book at home, grrrr!
