No Guard of Honour Disappoints Steve Evans

How long has this Guard of Honour thing been customary? I dont remember this being done 10 years ago, its only a recent thing, a bit like having a minutes applause when the club steward snuffs it!

****. Enough said. It is not customary at all and only a small handful of clubs have done it - with the only one coming to mind is Man Ure for Chelsea a few seasons ago. Think you need to earn respect in your league to come anywhere near a club organising a guard of honour for you.
