Breaking News Noor Husin Signs

happy days are here again! roll on for next years push for league 2 status.... and the diggers crack on with our new home! well done all:Clap:

Another signing of a player at the right age group, with a desire to kick on and hopefully we are taking shape as a club, that can also kick on, so be able to match the ambition of players we sign, so they are not a blink and they are gone signing, but if we peak below their ability, we can still sell for a profit and continue our progress,

Welcome Noor and wishing you a long a prosperous career and a Shrimper.

The age bracket we've been signing here, 24/25 years old is the perfect age to be bringing someone in. Couple of years before their 'peak' with potential resale value if they do well. Signs of an actual plan for our recruitment? Feeling positive for the first time in a while.

Don't wish to put a downer on anything but where are we getting this money from given we were under an embargo a few weeks ago?

Still, another encouraging signing and it certainly seems that the management are already planning for next season.

Match report for Dartford's last match said he came off injured, anyone ITK know if this was precautionary or will he need a couple of weeks on the sidelines before he's ready to play?

Precautionary. He's ready to go (If selected of course)

Brilliant signing. Exactly the sort of player we need. I’m absolutely loving our recruitment since Kev and team came in. Every single one of them has been promising.

What I loved even more was reading the Dartford OS. Made an offer that fairly compensated them and thanked us for how we’d conducted ourselves. So refreshing to finally see us doing things properly.

Can still push for league 2 status this season starting with a win against kings Lynn!
Very unlikely now…halfway through the season and with a win tonight we are 14 points off 7th….7th are potentially 10 points off top….so we would need a run better than Chesterfields 1st half of the season to have a chance

This doesnt sound like the Southend we have known for the last 3 or 4 years. All kudos to the gaffer, Stan, Tom and the scouts who are clearly looking at some very good players. We are definitely missing that player who can produce a bit of magic bit like Gower and Jack Payne in the past.
