I got my daughter a Dell Inspiron 1370 (or 13z) and very pleased with it. The Ultra Low Voltage Core 2 Duo CPU, 4 gb ram , 320 gb hard drive and 512 nVidia graphics for £370 on the Dell Outlet. Far more portable that her previous Dell Vostro 1510.
