Just watched Jason Lee amble around for 90 minutes. Some nice touches, some lazy stretches, some commanding headers (including a goal rather harshly disallowed for a foul on the keeper), some awful failures to meet the ball in the air, some mild protests, some very casual shrugs. 39 now apparently and playing for a club with worse financial problems than us! Only 1 sub today, and that was Darren Caskey (only 36 but looking 50!) who apparently was born in Basildon so could have been a shrimper too. And all of this just 2 divisions below us. It's scary. Don't know if the club will survive (though there is a bloody big Tesco up the road!). Result a bit depressing: Ilkeston Town 2 (not including Jason's goal!) Gainsborough Trinity 5

Yes still bald/shaven and with a very satisfied grin on his face. He looked like he still had it there somewhere (especially for this level - Caskey was also so obviously experienced in higher divisions) but could only occasionally be bothered - but wasn't he always a bit like that? I remember being realy surprised when Forest came in for him.
