£13.50 St Pancras to Nottingham return. Ker-ching!
That aint fair. And mine was with a Railcard as well

I have to change trains at least once as well at either Birmingham or Derby, which could be interesting

Oddly, the cheapest way was buying two singles - £7.50 there and £6 back.

Good luck with the transfer at Brum/Derby!

All this train ticket price confusion.

This is why I travel by car. And I don't have to change halfway, either!

I would drive to Notts, but it would make it more difficult to drink four tinnies on the way up. Bloody police nowadays really seem to have a problem with it. Why aren't they out catching real criminals?

Seriously, though, not being a particularly heavy drinker any more I don't really have much of a problem with this....

I'm quite happy with just drinking a couple when I reach my destination!
