being boring I was mostly interested in the accuracy of his claim -

I wondered if anyone else found themselves questioning the credibility of this claim/public assertion ....... 7 million !

And I was also struck by the time frame he seems to be asserting for this humungous invetsment for which, of course, we are all really really grateful for

I'd imagine it's loans and advances (including the Sainsbury's money) that's secured against assets that are in Ron (or a company thereof)'s name. A loan secured on Roots hall for example would, I presume, have to be paid into the company that owns it. This being a company of Ron's would mean that he also can claim ownership of it's income, and monies secured through it.

This being the case I'd say £7M is quite possible. I'm sure we can already work out £5M of it ;)
