Playing Barmy Batters who are bottom and have a legion of oldies. Took a gamble and rested two all rounders hoping that Diggers and Barrowdale would mow their top order down. They didn't. I should still be ok but I am on a TIE so you never know.....

End of Over 19: 56-2, runrate=2.95
Graham 3-0-3-0
Rennie* 19 (21 balls)
Manchester 15 (50 balls)

Last Wicket: Dodds c & b. Digana 11 (FOW: 30/2)

I'm home to Seaside Special, who are top of the league. Currently being held by a batsman earning 2k a week! Nice slow run-rate though, so he can stay there.

End of Over 27: 95-0, runrate=3.52
Shyjal 7-1-15-0
Camilleri* 41 (90 balls)
Brush 54 (72 balls)

EDIT: Just as I post that, said 2k batsman gets out. 95-1.

might have a fighting chance here - they dont have any more batsmen. My only worry is will my batsmen hit a decent total?

End of Over 37: 175-6, runrate=4.73

Bucknell* 70 (63 balls)
Johnstone 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Mclauchlan c. Allan b. Cuss 7 (FOW: 175/6)

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI

Playing YB today, mutual TIE agreed, Had him 6/2, but he recovered very well. I would think he's got about 20 too many, but we've made a good start in reply.

BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Cracked

End of Over 13: 71-0, runrate=5.46, reqrunrate=5.38 (269-4)
Daniels 7-0-45-0
Downing* 40 (46 balls)
Evelyn 30 (33 balls)

Eboracum Legionnaires v DIBS DIPPERS

Mrs BB on a Flat pitch and Sunny weather, so I'm not sure she has enough.

Eboracum Legionnaires won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Flat

End of Over 13: 86-1, runrate=6.62, reqrunrate=5.03 (271-5)

Gichki 8-0-47-0
Lockwood* 56 (67 balls)
Murphy 57 (69 balls)
Last Wicket: Waqar c. Wright b. Walker 10 (FOW: 15/2)

9 wicket win on a TIE. Diggers mopped up the tail after their youngest player (30) made 98. 121no from Richie in reply for a good NRR gain.

We expanded to 70,000 and 69,806 were there today. How far do we go?? The important thing is, the week's gates plus sales of reserves has put us £3m in the black again so we can now see ourselves through the next two weeks of no home games plus the two gap weeks at the end of the season and still get max interest.

End of Over 46: 212-4, runrate=4.61, reqrunrate=6.25 (236-10)
Hartford 8-0-40-3
Dliza* 5 (3 balls)
Perry 96 (100 balls)
Last Wicket: Morton c & b. Hartford 12 (FOW: 197/4)

come on Perry!

come on!

End of Over 49: 229-4, runrate=4.67, reqrunrate=8.00 (236-10)
Mclauchlan 10-0-44-1
Dliza* 13 (11 balls)
Perry 105 (110 balls)
Last Wicket: Morton c & b. Hartford 12 (FOW: 197/4)
