We play Stick Cricket who have a former England U-19 bowler in their ranks. I thought Level IV was meant to be easy!! Mario rests as he's down to lively, Suthers forced to play at invigorated - I have no choice!

Plan next week in FC is to switch to H&F, play no bowlers and try and bat th egame out for a draw! The problems with trying to train all rounders when you need them in the squad.

Apparently Mario is one of eth best spinners SA have on their watchlist so he could yet see some NT action which is nice but worrying for a) his fitness for my team and b) the quality of the SA national team!!

we're playing a very good side, expect to lose. However, confidence is sky high, we're top of both OD and FC and everyone's pulling their weight, so who knows?

Tell me about it. I'm training 2 of them !

We play the top side. Lea, Schoeman and Prasad are all at Invigorated, but have to play. Luckily we have a Bot in next weeks FC game, so they can all rest for a week after this one. Really need a win, otherwise morale is going to be totally shot !

Mrs BB also at full strength, she should win on a TIE.

Pardoes Pageantry v BATTY SHRIMPERS

We can tell you that Pardoes Pageantry won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this sunny day.

cheeky bugger of an opponent has put several quality players into his team that he hasn't used in OD since season 8... wish i'd GFI'd now. doing alright thus far though (batting).

End of Over 7: 32-1, runrate=4.57
Tiatto 4-0-22-1
Rautenbach* 15 (17 balls)

Mabuso* 4 (18 balls)
Treddle 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Singh c. Wright b. Hulse 4 (FOW: 7/3)

Two down but going along at an ok pace. Not much batting past 6 so need these two to stay together. Can't recall them batting together too many times before as Plums is usually down at 6 or 7.

End of Over 12: 55-2, runrate=4.58
Burke 1-0-2-0
Plummer* 1 (3 balls)
Cunningham 26 (33 balls)

Last Wicket: Lamey b. Wrack 11 (FOW: 53/2)

Not too bad, considering it's H+F and Sunny. I'll take anything below 280.

They put their best batsman at tenth and Gamage got him out the second ball he faced.

The players are off the field for the break between innings.

End of Over 18: 48-10, runrate=2.67
Cahill 3-0-8-3
Stevens* 0 (0 balls)

Des and The Skip doing their usual containing job (8-0-24-2 between them), but picking up wickets this week, which they failed to do last week.

Silk 9-1-34-1
Latham* 1 (1 balls)
Gobern 9 (18 balls)

Good partnership this. Happy for them to toddle along now if it means we have wickets intact for the last ten. The former U-19 is about to return though.

jeeez.... 268 all out then, i guess.

47.5 W Gadsby to Jones
Big inswinging yorker crashes into his pads. Massive appeal and given!
47.4 W Gadsby to Harmison
Went for the hip glance, but he didn’t get enough bat on it and Holt takes a superb catch down the leg side.
47.3 W Gadsby to Nkhangweleni
Inswinging yorker from Gadsby that Nkhangweleni has played all around, two stumps out of the ground, comprehensively bowled.
47.2 W Gadsby to Latham
There's a fielder moving towards it, is he going to get there... yes, simple catch in the end for Malik.

Come on the Petts- Cairnsy ripping through them and gets their high quality/wonderful bat for a golden duck...
