Have a guess....
BATTY SHRIMPERS v Park Avenue CC

We take in the side in 6th today, the 1st of a run of 4 consecutive Home games, which should boost the coffers nicely.

Full-strength side out, but PFL's are starting to bite, we need to get another bowler in sharpish...

Lost Fitz early again, he's now scored 152 runs in 4 OD innings, 143 of which came against division whipping boys Dobcross last week. Not good for 200k pw

We can tell you that Park Avenue CC won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 6: 25-1, runrate=4.17
Muir 3-0-10-0
Pollock* 11 (13 balls)
Nagendranath 11 (13 balls)

Last Wicket: Fitzpatrick c. Wrigley b. Grabben 3 (FOW: 8/1)

DIBS DIPPERS v General Stars

Mrs BB takes on Kev in an inter-SZ derby today, looking to bounce back from her close defeat last week. Full-strength side out, but Shah plays his last game for the Mrs BB, as he's now on the market, due to Arnold being dropped from the SA squad. Mrs BB can't afford to carry both wages, but can afford 242k pw week for Arnold, so Shah gets the boot. Mutual TIE agreed, and Kev's made a slowish start....

We can tell you that General Stars won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 7: 16-0, runrate=2.29
Shah 4-1-11-0
Guy* 11 (19 balls)
Waterhouse 5 (23 balls)

Tough game against league favourites. They bat down to 7. Still, got a couple of wickets on the board.

End of Over 11: 52-2, runrate=4.73
Allan 1-0-5-1
Brooker* 1 (2 balls)
Stevens 18 (30 balls)
Last Wicket: Hurdle st. Perry b. Allan 33 (FOW: 51/2)

Looks like it's just me and you today Naps...

Good RR for my boys given the conditions, be happier if we were only 2 down at this stage, although we do bat down to 8 nowadays.

Doing ok, we're first and they're fourth.

Southend United v highton

We can tell you that Southend United won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this partially cloudy and humid day.

Let’s join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

Denvers 5-0-33-0
Wright* 75 (91 balls)

Shah 10-1-47-2
Guy* 111 (153 balls)
Deane 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Browne c. Mohammed b. Shah 4 (FOW: 232/4)

Playing Parkway again, and we did ok with the bat, considering they bowled us out for 102 and 150 in FC this week! We will still lose comfortably but shouldn't damage NRR too much.

End of Over 5: 19-0, runrate=3.80, reqrunrate=4.18 (206-3)
Raipur 3-0-10-0
Swonnell* 12 (17 balls)
Ameer 7 (13 balls)

bugger

9.1 W Yates to Jefferson
Jefferson uses the angled bat to guide that ball with perfect precision. Unless, of course, he wasn't aiming for his stumps. Yates is jubilant.

End of Over 9: 37-1, runrate=4.11, reqrunrate=4.73 (230-4)
Chibale 5-1-13-0
Jefferson* 13 (29 balls)
Allan 6 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Perry c. Brooker b. Yates 17 (FOW: 26/1)

More dropped catches than wickets so far whilst bowling
.
End of Over 24: 91-2, runrate=3.79, reqrunrate=5.50 (233-5)
Gichki 7-1-22-0
Britz* 25 (51 balls)
Siddiqi 53 (71 balls)
Last Wicket: Bracey b. Walker 5 (FOW: 37/2)

Still nip and tuck, although Andre's only got one over left...

Crushing victory for Mrs BB in the SZ Derby...

DIBS DIPPERS v General Stars

General Stars won the toss and elected to bat.
Pitch: Cracked
And that's the end of the match. DIBS DIPPERS won by 7 wickets.
General Stars 232-4
DIBS DIPPERS 234-3

ngghhh..... any result was possible on the last ball, in the end the oppo got a single and tied the game- 264-3 each.

Comfortable 9 wicket victory with 13 overs to spare against my only non-bot in the division...looks like promotion is on the cards straight away.

10 wicket win with 0ver 45 overs to spare. Yep, only bots in my league1!

Plus the added bonus of £165,000 in gate receipts. Many more like this and I'll need to expand again
