ShrimperZone CC v BGS XI

3rd v 5th. We have the skills advantage but they have the fitness. They're also adept at punching above their weight having beaten Brianstoke last season and surviving in a very tough division. With our bowling line up at lively/invigorated and a tough cup game on Sunday I can't afford a GFI, despite BT20 next week, as I want full fitness for our crucial double header against Queens Park in the following weeks which will probably decide relegation. Very annoying that Mighty Minnions mucked up their declaration yesterday against them to allow them to snatch a draw.

Left out lively Nadeeka for sublime Udayakumar and moved Richie and Wanless to the top of the order after Guner and Sini's epic partnership yesterday.

Me 6th away to 7th on a TIE with 3 knackered bowlers one down to fresh and a batsmen resting for Sundays cup GFI. Still expect to be far too strong. Have already resigned myself to a playoff and will focus on an FC promotion push.

BATTY SHRIMPERS (5th) v Queens Park CC (8th)

Had a result, as oppo have thrown the game, but we'd only TIE'd anyway.

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking slow and low. Tough for everyone. Could be a low scoring match on this partially cloudy day.

End of Over 5: 21-2, runrate=4.20
Singh 3-0-17-0
Ochse* 13 (11 balls)
Lawson 1 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Nielsen c. Tyas b. Job 6 (FOW: 8/2)

DIBS DIPPERS (1st) v General Stars (7th)

Mrs BB completes her week of SZ derbies by taking on Kev today. Mutal TIE agreed between them...

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this partially cloudy day.

End of Over 5: 21-1, runrate=4.20
Buchan 3-0-15-0
Guy* 6 (10 balls)
Sookram 12 (14 balls)

Last Wicket: Waterhouse c. Stride b. Arnold 2 (FOW: 6/1)

Bad news for me, got them in FC the next two weeks so don't want them saving fitness!

I lost by 6 runs, wish I'd just thrown the game completely.
