ShrimperZone CC v Purple Dinosaurs

6 competitive matches without a win, officially our worst run since the game started. Attempting to break the run against a team we've never lost to in 5 OD matches.

Benji rests after running him into the ground in the FC game in the expectation of him being sold so my remaining bowling trainee Reinhardt will hopefully not spunk too many runs. Dr Chandra makes his debut (that was an easy one), coming in at three in a batting order reshuffle that sees Richie move down to 4 and Lamo move up to open.

With BT20 next week then bots the week after it's a GFI and fingers crossed.

Southend United v 2nd Chance

We can tell you that Southend United won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this partially cloudy and windy day.

End of Over 10: 31-2, runrate=3.10
Bryan 5-0-14-0
Wright* 15 (28 balls)
Tyler 2 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Joost Hit Wicket b. Basson 14 (FOW: 28/2)

Mbata 3-0-23-0
Harbin* 42 (49 balls)

Im going to lose ...

Spinners keeping it tight enough to absorb Reinhardt's runs.

End of Over 28: 104-2, runrate=3.71
Reinhardt 4-0-29-0
Mccammon* 71 (82 balls)
Faaiz 2 (3 balls)

Cambridge 62 (71 balls)
Last Wicket: Huckerby lbw b. Cullingford 43 (FOW: 60/2)

Southend v Seaside Special

Mutual TIE agreed. We were put into bat, and another 0 from Davenport means we're on shaky ground, especially if we lose another soon.

End of Over 33: 150-3, runrate=4.55
Talal 7-1-38-2
Chill* 8 (8 balls)
Dowe 65 (101 balls)
Last Wicket: Davenport c. Sinethemba b. Talal 0 (FOW: 139/3)

BATTY SHRIMPERS v ends of the earth

1st against 6th - Full strength side out on a GFI. He has the PFL edge as he had a BOT in FC this week.

Evelyn's Mediocre Batting form is starting to kill us. It cost us the game last week, as he took 130 balls to score 60odd and we ended up 19 short. Today he took 108 balls to notch exactly 50, meaning we're behind the run rate a bit.

We can tell you that ends of the earth won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and windy day.

End of Over 38: 137-2, runrate=3.61
Schoorman 9-0-42-1
Nagendranath* 9 (7 balls)
Pollock 69 (101 balls)

Last Wicket: Evelyn b. Schoorman 50 (FOW: 124/2)

DIBS DIPPERS v Bob's Buffoons

Mrs BB in 2nd takes on the 3rd place side, and she's had a nightmare. Reduced to 27/5 after she PAN'd to try and save some PFL, finally scraped up to 102, but it will be nowhere near enough.

We can tell you that Bob's Buffoons won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and windy day.

End of Over 3: 9-0, runrate=3.00, reqrunrate=2.00 (102-10)
Eagles 2-0-6-0
Stewart* 7 (11 balls)
Cable 2 (7 balls)

End of Over 46: 211-5, runrate=4.59
Ikramullah 8-0-37-1
Rea* 1 (1 balls)
Remaketse 3 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Lampard b. Ikramullah 10 (FOW: 210/5)

Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI v monkey spunk mopeds (5737950)Welcome to Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI CG for the match between Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI and monkey spunk mopeds.

We can tell you that monkey spunk mopeds won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy and windy day.

Let’s join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

47.1 1 Julian to Holt
Lands it on a length, middle and off, Holt pushes just wide of cover.

End of Over 47: 178-0, runrate=3.79
Rhodes 9-0-65-0
Holt* 92 (139 balls)
Finnan 81 (143 balls)

Finnan is a destructive sensational-sensational batsman, set attacking, with elite experience, superb stamina and sublime fitness.

So WTF is he scoring so slowly?

End of Over 48: 214-7, runrate=4.46
Ikramullah 9-0-39-2
Devonish* 1 (2 balls)
Mcdougal 1 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Rea c. Deane b. Ikramullah 2 (FOW: 212/7)

Giving myself half a chance...

I need 221 to win! Tricky total especially with my fragile batting line-up! First ten overs are crucial!

Welcome to jonboy24 CG for the match between jonboy24 and Deleven.

We can tell you that Deleven won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this sunny day.

Let’s join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

Cullingford 10-0-86-1
