Can anyone offer anything better than;

''The Dying Gladiator''

Seen in Brigg, North Lincolnshire.

Also honourable mention for ''Dog & Rat'' in Broughton, North Lincolnshire.

How about "The Monkey's Forehead"

Think it was near Windsor or somewhere Surrey way - had a good drink there once on the way back from the races.:)

The Blacky Boy in Newcastle springs to mind, especially when on a stag weekend half the group wanted to pose outside it due to their skin colour!!

There's a pub near me in Pinner called "The Case Is Altered".

It's also a very nice place right on the top of hill. At night, from the car park, you can see all the planes taking off & landing at Heathrow.

It's in Egham on the way to Windsor. It was my local when I was at Uni opposite at Royal Holloway. Cracking pub.

I used to work in Harrow Probation Office next door to the Magistrates Court there.:)
It is of course quite a common pub name in the UK.

The Paul Pry in Rayleigh. A pub that appears to be named after a peeping Tom/prowler/stalker.

Why not go the whole hog and call it The Ted Bundy or The Peter Sutcliffe?

There is a pub in a Hertfordshire village called The Beaver.
Nothing strange until you find out the village is Bushey...;)
