I just sent out a fairly innocuous chaser e-mail and within 5 minutes, in a move not entirely unreminiscent of Hitler's annexation of the Sudetenland, someone who is on holiday has just annexed a whole department on the back of it.

Whilst I play kingmaker and decide whether to sanction this move or not, do any 'Zoners have any good tales of office politics and audacious office putsches?
