Absolutely gutted with this if I'm honest. Of course I'll give him a chance and get behind him and the team but I can't pretend I'm not disappointed at this point in time.

Good luck to him, if he does well here he might get a job higher up if he flops he's probably fnished so its a gamble for him aswell I reckon.

I bet sainsburys were behind this , Orange kit ,Orange paint on new ground, new orange badge and now new Orange manager!

We're a league two team not likely to make the play-offs - great to get a well known face with contacts..

Well happy with this news rather than a russell slade or joe dunn type appointment. Good luck and welcome

Two and a half year deal, not sure what lies Ronald sold him

Lets have a guess, we are about to start work on a new stadium, we have investment coming in, we run a tight ship here at roots hall never any issues with the taxman or late payment of players/staff, the board will never sign players you do not ask for. have i mentioned the new stadium

I still can't get my head around Sturrock managing us at Wembley.

Same, I find it all a bit weird. Also in that interview on talksport, Sturrock says he is taking training for the week.....what's that all about?

What with this and them Soccer AM wally's doing the National Anthem, it is slowly taking away any seriousness of the final @ Wembley. Now it is becoming a joke match

Bit odd but I am glad that we are showing some form of sentiment on this, Brown would certainly not be leading 'his team' out at wembley, he had nowt to do with getting there etc. Sturrock has certainly earned his day at the home of football and lets be honest this is seen as a once in a lifetime thing for many of us supporters, may be the case for sturrock too
