Following the supporter survey, Oldham Athletic would like to announce a reduction in ticket prices for a trial period of five games which will see Latics offer the lowest ticket prices in League One.

Adult supporters buying a ticket in advance will now be able to purchase for just £15, with the pay on the day price reduced to £20.

This will commence from the Sky Bet League One home game against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, November 12 (3pm kick off), and will incorporate the games against Peterborough United, Southend United, Port Vale and Gillingham.

Following the completion of the trial, a review will take place to look at the effect on the club from a revenue perspective. Gate receipts are a vital part of the club’s income and therefore we need to ensure that this reduction is financially viable.

Yey! am due to check out train prices for this so reduced entrance fee makes it more doable.

Anything to do with their outrageous financial abuse of our supporters last season?

Where did you source this story Mick, please?

MK was a one off match - looks like Oldham are trialing with a view to make a permanent reduction

Lots of clubs do "one-off" promotions to try and get the crowds in... we do the "kids for a quid" promos.

The hope is obviously to get people hooked in.

I wonder how many extra Southend fans MK Dons created with that promotion?

:winking:

You're only allowed three one-off promotions a season in League rules.
