Not quite the same but I used to quite fancy a girl I went to college with who only had one arm.
She offered me a lift home once from college as she didnt live far from me. I accepted forgetting that she only had one arm which was her left arm. As it turned out she had a fake arm which was permently moored on the gear stick and she slotted her stump into that and then drove that way.
Was proper scary on the way home I can tell you.

Not sure why but I've taken a bit of a recent fancy to the one-armed presenter (Cerri???) on CBeebies...
It keeps me awake at night working out how she gets dressed (specifically how does she get her bra on and off) with just one arm!
