In today's News of the World Joe Ross is complaining that he is the victim of "institutional racism" after being axed as the only black assistant ref in the Premiership at the end of last season.
He is calling for an enquiry into why there are so few refs from ethnic minorities and he insists that the colour of his skin has held him back and that was why he has been given low marks when refereeing.

Has anyone got any footage of our match at Luton a few years ago , that might help his case.

It's quite simple, he's no longer on the Premiership list (and shouldn't be anywhere near the Football League) becuase he's a god awful ref. Luton was just one of his truly dreadful games.

It could be alleged that he only got into the Football League because of positive discrimination (how else can it be explained?) so to now play the race discrimination card is laughable.

Funnily enough the usually excellent Mr. Singh is doing ok for himself....

blatant racism to the highest extent..

let's have an inquiry in the fa to their political incorrectness over the handling of this issue..

Wost ref ever........

Hardly a racist thing he is just crap. To square things a bit I think Mr Singh we had a few weeks ago is without doubt the best ref I have seen at the Hall......Excellent except last time at the Hall but everyone has a bad day.

I remember that Luton game well.

Wasn't Mark Wright sacked when he was manager for Oxford for allegedly racially abusing Joe Ross?

While there's no excuse for that sort of behaviour, Mr Ross was clearly having one of his normal performances that day. How the hell did he manage to get to be an assistant ref in the premiersh!te anyway?
