One of the players we were linked with...

EastStandBlue

Life President
I saw us linked by a few people to Spurs Yoof Terry Dixon with a possible loan deal... It's worth mentioning that he's been released after suffering a 3rd Dislocated Knee cap in 18 months :stunned:

shame... spurs were really excited about him IIRC. could he still be worth a look at though?

Get him in and just play him in the reserves and build up his strength in the gym and get our fantastic team to work with him. We could make up for the Kightly mistake here!!

No I think he is injured at the moment, hasn't had a great season for his fitness.

I think we should get him in on a trial and have a look.

Although obviously he's currently suffering from his third broken kneecap. But, erm... yeah. A trial, when he's back and ready so long as nobody has taken him in.

His body isn't up to Professional Football and I'd imagine that his Doctors will be telling him to retire or risk serious long-term health problems. It isn't worth him risking his health for a couple of years scratching a living in the lower leagues.
