For those wondering what the Worrall substitution was all about, this pic from Chris Phillips might help...

What's that old saying .......... "it's a game for men" ............

Not sure how long an injury like that will take to heal ......... 2-3 days of stiffness no real exercise (don't tear the stitches mind) and then take it easy until you get the all clear.

I doubt he'll be available for Barnsley but should be for the game after, do you think?

Timlins was a bigger cut, but much easier to sort out. Worralls is on a very awkward place to heal and so he might well be out a couple of weeks.

Oh dear god that's shocking and such a freak injury. Really feel sorry for him as thought to the point of the injury has was our best player

In my day you'd get up, dust yourself down and go again. Sportsman today are mere pansies. I once played on with a below the knee amputation, fractured jaw, gashed forehead and severed spleen. Man up I say :winking:

My boy spotted the gash before I did, it wasn't pretty. The roar of frustration he emitted after realising he would have to go off/miss a few games was extremely loud. Felt gutted for him.
