Peter Clarke - returning to Blackpool?

Personally, I'd be really sad to see Peter Clarke leave.

I feel he is definitely a better defender and player than Adam Barrett. Clarke and a commanding centre back together would be the best bet to move the club forward.

Barrett has been a total legend because of his commitment and belief in the club, rather than his abilities as a centre back.

To me, Clarkes reading of the game and all round defending are superior to AB. I do worry when we come up against teams that have strong pacy forward, as Barrett can be terribly exposed.

Awesome player. So much commitment! Very good defender. Would rather keep him over Barrett. I love Barrett but techniqually Clarke is a better defender!

I agree with this. Perhaps Tilly should have kept Richards?
