Ronaldo gets both the Young Player and Players Player of the year award. Fully deserved IMO. At present, he's the most exciting player on the planet. I know the World Cup thing leaves a bitter taste, but him getting Rooney sent off didn't cost us a place in the Semi Finals. We were largely crap throughout our stay in Germany. And the way he's bounced back amongst fierce and largely unwarranted critiscm has been excellent.

Interesting team of the year decided as well. Just the eight Man Utd player's selected then!

PFA Premier League Team of the Year 2007:
Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra (all Man Utd); Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo (all Man Utd) and Steven Gerrard (Liverpool); Didier Drogba (Chelsea) and Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham)

Personally, I would have gone for...

James (GK)

Finnan
Vidic
Carvalho
Shorey

Ronaldo
Scholes
Essien
Giggs

Drogba
Rooney

Although Berbatov would be a harsh omission.

Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham

Purely speculating but I think Manure will go with a massive bid for him in the summer.
