If anyone was out of work since 2011 would want a job as well, he is desperate to get back to football except he has the challenge of his life here, not just the circumstances & finances etc, but RON MARTIN!!

Thank you for depressing me  Seems we're out of the frying pan and into the fire.

BROWN OUT :winking:

The guy is a twunt, gutted he is coming here and will get a hostile reception from me on Easter Monday

No point what you gonna change, its Ron who should get the hostile reception, do it when Ron drives off his drive way.....Brown might do ok here if he can work with Ron & history suggests not many do!

A thread trying to slate a man who is out of work who tries to get a job. What is this world coming to?

This guy has managed in the prem, probably been very well rewarded for it. Why on earth would he want to come here, probably doesnt need to work again, and how would he be motivated by this kind of role!! Interesting...

shock horror a football manager without a job has only gone and applied for some manager jobs. I would wager Sir Tilly of southend has applied for plenty of those (if not all) jobs

How long do you think that money lasts?

Whether you like him or not , you should get behind him and support him, give him a chance ,every manager deserves that.Hes no different from any of us ,if we was out of work ,we would be applying for every position in our field im sure.

Of course the guy is going to be motivated you can see by the jobs he is applying for he wants to rebuild a team start a fresh, he needs to rebuild his reputation aswell after his tenure as Preston manager

If he is appointed today then Good Luck to him, however there must be a reason all of the clubs he is applying for have said no is it salary demands I wonder? Yes they guy has pedigree at prem level and he kept Hull up great achievement however he has been out of work a while and there must be a reason the likes of Lincoln and Hartlepool have not offered the guy the job
