Echo News Pitch inspection planned ahead of Southend United clash

Surely that’s not from today - it’s been a bit chilly but the ground isn’t frozen solid. That was posted by a Wealdstone fan - I reckon it’s an old one. Can anyone trace the original?

I suspect it may well be ok- but frankly if it isn’t why should the club make a huge effort/spend money to ensure it’s on when the NL are doing all they can to screw us over? In our interests to play once out of embargo.

It’s always that south end that’s the problem. North facing, shielded from the sun.

looking back at the video I think I can see the new Andrews Taxis advertising board by the East Blues

Certainly looks as if there is a very strong possibility that the game will be off. Hopefully the fixture will be played when we have more players available so would still be positives if the fixture is postponed.
