Planning Updates- All The Latest Details. 28/03/2022

Guessing formal permission won't be granted until 4th Dec but hopefully today is the final hurdle to cross before then!

??? I look forward to seeing Ron Martin, Mark Molesley and Demi on the site gurning for the camera in hard hats holding shovels!

Well, it will make a change from the old photo of @Cricko and Ken (is he no longer a member, mcnasty doesn't come up!?).

Sounds like the plans for FF are with planning and are being validated. That is good news.

Only thing to report so far is that the amended application for Fossetts is with planners and in the process of being validated.

Cllr Buck (Tory - Prittlewell) is not covering himself in glory....clearly hasn't read anything and is confusing this meeting with a planning committee (not a surprise to anyone who has worked in local government to have a confused councillor who doesn't understand the processes!).

Watching now and a positive start although it was mentioned that investigations will need to be made into all the companies involed.

Sound a bit iffy but overall better than Ifollow

one of the councillors is asking if units can be built at a rate of over 200 units per site per annum (400 per year)

They now asking for a timeline for the whole project etc. That would be useful!

one of the councillors (a west ham fan) compares the development to what happenend in Stratford and stated that it shows such a development is viable

a lot of back slapping going on about the good work that's gone into the report, it's pointed out that there isn't much technical detail but it wouldn't be expected at this stage
