Bowlers:

OD - Van Niekerk wins the wicket race with 33, at 11.48 average. Allan has a better average with less wickets. Comparing the economy rate, van Niekerk has a rate of 3.30 to Allan's 4.32. Van Niekerk wins.

FC - Van Niekerk has almost double the wickets of Hoult in second place, with 43 wickets to Hoult's 22, and at a great average, and by far the lowest, of 10.77. Van Niekerk wins this one.

BT20 - Allan grabs 20 wickets at an average of 5.35. Hoult, 16 at 9.44 and Van Niekerk 13 at 5.92. Allan gets the prize.

Overall, van Niekerk caps the season with the bowler of the year.

Batsmen

A suprising winner here. Jefferson is the monster batsman, but he has been outplayed by wicketkeeper Perry

OD - Perry has 780 runs at 156 average. (Jefferson 880 runs at only 125.71 average; Allan 380 runs at 95.00 average)

FC - Perry gets over 1,000 runs - 1025 @ 78.85 average (Allan got 687 runs at 62.45 average; Jefferson 785 runs at 60.38 average)

BT20 - Jefferson never got out! 430 runs, 430 average. Perry got 275 runs, 137.50 average

Perry wins the best batsman award

Player of the season - Perry. Cracking performance with the bat. Plus, in OD - 39 catches and 7 stumpings. and still only 21 years old.

Bowlers: - Nigel Williams

FC - Nigel Williams - 62 wickets at 6.39 avg

OD - Close call between Williams (24 wks at 13.00 again and Sharma (27 wks at 13.11) but going to give it Williams as I'm livid with Sharma for losing me the FC title with an ill-judged single on the last ball of the penultimate over of the last match

BT20 - Another close call this time between Shashidhar and Bowditch. Shash 16 wks at 8 with a 4.45 economy rate and 18yo Bowditch with 16 wks at 11.44 and a 6.78 economy rate. Has to go to Shash for wickets and economy although great stuff from the young Bowditch

Batting - Zesh Swayne

FC - My batsmen occupy the top four places in the divisional averages:
Cptn Williams 149 avg 82 SR
Bob Birkett 126 90 SR
Swayne 113 91 SR
Last 92 77 SR
The award goes to Williams with his 5 centuries.

OD - No contest here, Swayne with an avg of 162 and a 105 SR 2 50s and 3 100s

BT20 - Bob Birkett with a 72 avg and 152 SR. I tend to bowl first in BT20 so not many high averages.

POTY - Nigel Williams - over 100 wickets in all comps. Starting to come of age this season.

Bowling -

FC - Lindop 24 wickets at 16.50, Singh 22 wickets at 27.64, nobody else took over 20.

OD - Singh 25 wickets at 22.32.

BT20 - No award as we didn't take part....

Bowler of the year. Tough call between Singh and Lindop, but just goes to Singh for his 55 wickets in all comps over the season. Honourable mention for Begg's OD performances. Only 12 wickets, but his RPO for the season was only 4.39, not bad for II.

Batting -

FC - Pollock 952 runs at 79.33, Lindop 393 runs at 78.60, Evelyn 665 at 51.15, Nagga 444 at 44.40

OD - Evelyn 1018 at 127.25, Lindop 537 at 67.13, Nagga 606 at 60.60,

BT20 - See above

Batter of the year - Evelyn by a country mile. Topped the OD division batting averages, and was 2nd highest run-scorer in the division

Player of the Year - Probably Evelyn. 2282 runs for the season in all comps, plus 63 catches and 3 stumpings.

Pettini of the year - Pollock 197 runs at 17.91 in OD (and that was boosted by 56* in the last game). Rubbish for an Exquisite/Exquisite

With the bat - well thats pretty obvious isn't it?! Sookram - First up, he averages over 80 in my OD games, he played 8 games in BT20 and was not dismissed and averaged over 130 in the FC format!! Noteable mention to Waterhouse, who has been second best as Browne has been awful for me this year!

And with the ball - Waters and Guy have been excellent ... both getting between 90 and 100 wickets in the 3 formats - but Waters edges it!

Batting

FC

Mckie 8 matches 11 innings 6 tons 3 50's 197 average
Notable mention for Adrian and Westcarr still in training and averaging 93 and 87

Didn't bother with this - mostly a joke team fielded
Mckie averaged 55
Adrian 47
Westcarr 45

BT20

Adrian averaged 193 no-one else can touch him

Bowling

FC

56 wickets for Blinkhorn at 10.38 in 9 games
37 for Dickson at 10.14
25 for Hastings at 12.72

OD

Again mostly didn't put a team out

Blinkhorn took 20 at 12.05 guessing mostly in cup matches

Player of the season - close call between Adrian and Mckie but I will give it to Adrian
