Just want to say a massive thanks to Susannah at the Club, and Sean for a most enjoyable visit to B&L today. Also to the organisers of SZ's sponsorship of Sean for drawing my ticket out.
All worked out very nicely, watched training (Prosser didn't take part so can only assume he's not going to be fit for Torquay; Lee Hills was back though), met fbm (at last) who was there to support Chris Phillips in his London marathon adventure, saw Freddy draw the winning tickets for his shirt sponsorship then supported Matthew in his 5km - Michael Timlin, Harry Crawford and Alex Woodyard ran some of it with him, oh, and Chris Phillips took over from dad Nigel part of the way.
Had cottage pie and baked beans to eat (not what I expected at all!), nice chat with Sean - he really feels having our supporters in the North Bank has helped the team - collected the signed shirt and came away. Not giving any tactical information away, Ryan Leonard and Anto Flood were doing laps as we came away, we saw Matt Paterson and had a bit of a chat with Barry Corr who said the scouting is keeping him busy. All very pleasant and friendly.
