BILLERICAY BLUE who won: The 2 places at the end of season dinner with your sponsored player Ben Coker and other players in attendance at Roots Hall has kindly donated this back to the Zone but would like it to go to a good cause.

If you know of any child with a disability in some way and maybe would like to attend this evening with a Parent then we are open to suggestions. Or failing that a great reason to treat a particular youngster

I think the fairest way we can sort this is to please post your suggestions/nominations here and then we will open a poll to decide the winner of the prize.

BILLERICAY BLUE also said he will pay for all the coke (bottled variety) the child can consume on the night but the parent buys their own :winking:

Very nice gesture, I went to last years dinner and fair play to the club they do make an effort. I think it would be a great evening out for any young southend supporter. (don't want to put a dampener on things but I don't remember any kids being there last time and i'm not surte they are allowed in the casino, assuming that is where it is being held again?)

edit: sorry just seen it is at roots hall this season

This event is definitely NOT being held at Roots Hall, it will again be at the casino so unfortunately great though the gesture is an under 18 can not go. Might I just suggest that the winner of the shirt may want to swop prizes in order that a deserving youngster gets the Signed Shirt. Just a thought.

In which case, why not auction the 2 places?

Only trying to help Cricko.:stunned:

You might well say "whenever has the official site been known to be wrong" but I can assure you that it is being held again at the Rendezvous Casino as last year, on the 5th May 2015.It's just the Roots Hall bit that's changed.
Best regards from
the gentleman above.:winking:

Hmm rethink in order then I guess Mr..back with something else tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up mate.

Well then that is bollocks...I refer the gentleman above to the Official link on the current SUFC website and also confirmed to us..

I had a letter through the Post today. It's being held at The Casino.

No worries pal.

Maybe BILLERICAY BLUE. could swop with the winner of the 2 tickets for the blues lounge, at which any age can attend and see a match.

What about donating it to the family of Tracy Ralph to auction?

Lovely idea Kay but we are already doing a night for Tracy,so it would be better to be a SUFC fan thing IMO.
