Is Cian Bolger unique in this regard, or can we think of other Shrimpers whose initials are also their playing positions?

Most are a bit tenuous to say the least but here goes.....

Richie Foran
Dave Martin (defensive midfield)
Robert Milsom
Colin Morris (more of a winger than a midfielder though)
Roger Willis
Shane Westley (did he ever play as a sweeper?)
Mark Dziadulewicz

Jean-Francois Christophe = Jesus ****ing Christ

What type of position is that?

God, would work for someone who was everywhere (ie Gridelet, although he got that nickname at Barnsley because everyone knew he was there but no-one ever saw him).

F**king Exceptional - Freddy Eastwood
Striker Very Composed - SVC
Midfield Genius - Mark Gower
Bonkers Man - B*lel M

Just trying to add some longevity into this thread!

Ronnie Whelan - Right Winger (cheated a little but sure he played a few minutes out wide) Lee Barnard - Left Back in the changing roomsDarryl Flahaven - Defensive (DF)Scraping the barrel I know, but it Friday and winding down at work :)
