Is Cian Bolger unique in this regard, or can we think of other Shrimpers whose initials are also their playing positions?
 
Most are a bit tenuous to say the least but here goes.....

Dave Martin (defensive midfield)

Colin Morris (more of a winger than a midfielder though)

Shane Westley (did he ever play as a sweeper?)

What type of position is that?

God, would work for someone who was everywhere (ie Gridelet, although he got that nickname at Barnsley because everyone knew he was there but no-one ever saw him).
