Tinkler was an excellent footballer -Kellock was past his best but had been good

There were a lot more forgettable players from the Kellock era:

Stevie Collins, Brian Ferguson, Glen Skivington, Kevin Steggles, Graham Wilkins, Lil Fucillo, John Keeley and Trevor Whymark -no wonder we got relegated!
